When you open Android Studio first Time 

you may be thinking,

  1. What is activity_ main.xml file and What is mainActivity.java ?

You just keep in mind  .xml file is for layout of your app. and .java files are logic behind your app like Programs you will write in JAVA language. Don't worry  you will also learn Java. from basis.
